昨天和八年級學生共讀完經典繪本《The Story of Ferdinand》後，

我讓他們寫下讀後感，

有個學生這麼寫著：

「大家都想讓鬥牛上場打架，認為公牛就是要很兇猛，但Ferdinand和大家不同，牠喜歡靜靜地聞著花香，不喜歡打鬥。大家都會對性別有刻板印象，但並不是所有男生都喜歡玩汽車或飛機，有些男生也喜歡玩洋娃娃，一些被認為是女生喜愛的事物。」

另外有個學生嘗試用英文寫出自己的想法，超棒：

“Just be yourself no matter what other people say. Everyone has his/her own interests and we shouldn’t laugh at him/her. No matter that you are a boy or a girl, just do what you love without any fear because everyone is special.”

這是一本可以拿來跟孩子們談談性別刻板印象的好書。
